AYC PONTOON FLEET NEWS
The AYC Pontoon Fleet launched the season with its annual Memorial Day Weekend Breakfast ... members serving members on the club porch. It was one of several activities the members enjoy, and it also helps to raise money for worthy club activities.
Last year, for example, the fleet was able to provide a number of needed items including new tables for the Lounge and Ballroom, and part of the cost of new silverware that arrived in time for the 2007 Commodore's Ball.
This year, the fleet hopes to replace more of the club's deteriorated tables and also buy some more picnic tables for the lawn.
Regardless of whether you have a pontoon boat, or any boat at all, you can support the fleet by becoming a dues-paying member. Send a $25 check, payable to the AYC Pontoon Fleet, to the club.
Also, keep an eye out for notices of upcoming events in the club newsletter and bulletin board.
