Facilities
A full-service kitchen provides quality snacks or complete meals. Food is available in the Mainsail Lounge, Marr Dining Room, porch and from the pool-side snack bar. The Mainsail Lounge also is one of the most popular areas for socializing and enjoying a range of soft drinks, cocktails or beer produced in our own micro-brewery.
Private rooms in the clubhouse frequently accommodate various sizes of private parties, wedding receptions, birthday celebrations and group meetings. Lockerroom facilities are available for both men and women. The facilities are fully accessible for handicapped members.
Outside on carefully tended grounds are a pool, changing rooms, playground equipment for children, many picnic and barbecue areas and a dedicated race shanty from which the club conducts sailboat races. In-water and dry land boat dockage and summer storage may be rented by members.
Very nearby is Atwood Lake Resort & Conference Center. Although not connected with Atwood Yacht Club, members find it a convenient source for guest rooms and cottages, golf and other recreational facilities. Two independently operated marinas on Atwood Lake provide boat rentals, service and sales.
